 Blankenberge

Villa Olga

This unique belle epoque building offers 2 flats only 150 meters from the beach.

This bel-etage residence on Descampsstraat in Blankenberge was built in 1906, possibly after a design by city architect F. Cosman suppose. The moulded facade features an exuberant Art Nouveau tilework with floral motifs as parement. The facade is crowned by a semi-circular skylight flanked by bluestone vase ornaments. The bays of the upper floors are contained in round-arch fields separated by pilasters. The most surprising element is the fully tiled open loggia on the bel-etage with two beautiful landscape tableaux. On the side of the stairwell a nature scene with peacock, on the opposite wall a crane takes centre stage. The building was listed in 2003. The flats have recently been fully renovated and include a pleasant living room, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a bathroom (with bathtub/shower) and 2 or 3 full-size bedrooms. In addition, the 2-bedroom flat has 2 Parisian balconies with a view of the city centre, located on the sunny side so you can spend some time outside in the sun.

All Art Nouveau accommodations have a dining area and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. You can also make use of a toaster, a hob and a coffee machine. Each accommodation has a private bathroom with a bath or shower and a hairdryer.
